Stefano Santucci is an Italian documentary and film photographer based in Florence. Born in Cremona in 1983, he moved to Tuscany in 2002 to study nonverbal behaviour and facial expressions in children at the University of Florence.

In 2010 he founded his own Studio, choosing to follow a passion for visual storytelling over a career in psychology. Today his work combines a documentary approach with an artisanal, film- based process. He develops and prints his photographs in his own darkroom, creating images that are both authentic and enduring.

Alongside distinguished private commissions, Stefano undertakes personal and editorial projects exploring human connections, heritage, and evocative narratives. His images have been commissioned or featured by major institutions and publications worldwide.
